Music is one of the highlights of Vijay films. His songs are given the due importance and they never failed to top the charts. And, when Vijay Antony joins Vijay expectations soar high and ‘Velayutham’ has fulfilled it with a package of energizing and heart-warming numbers.

The opening number ‘Ratthathin Rathame…’ is sung by Sri Madhumitha and Haricharan. The song, written by Annamalai, has everything to tell that Vijay is fast moving towards fulfilling his political ambitions.
‘Molachu Moonu Ila Vidala…’, written by Viveka, is a heart-warming number with Prasanna and Supriya crooning the song. The use of varied instruments has made this song a different one for Vijay film.

‘Maayam Seidhaayo…’ sung by Sangeetha Rajeswaran is a soul-stirring romantic number with Viveka penning the lyrics. Sure you get to see the cute faces of Vijay in pictures of this song!
Vijay’s films are not complete without that ‘Thiruvizha’ dance song, and ‘Sonna Puriyaathu…’ is one that satisfies this. A fast and peppy number – a typical Vijay song! The Siva Shanmugham written song is sung by Vijay Antony and Veera Shankar.
Vijay Antony has rendered his voice along with Mark for yet another Vijay brand song ‘Vela Vela…’ The multi-genre has a mix of pop, rap and folk. This title song is written by Priyan and forms the closing number of the album.
